About the class...

Salsacise is structured like a normal aerobic class with a warm up , an aerobic fat burning component, and cool down ... but with a difference. All exercises are spiced and flavoured with salsa moves!!
Why is it important to warm up?
During the warm up we will be preparing the body and mind to switch from everyday life to the exercise class. It slowly increases the heart rate and blood flow to the muscles.
Aerobic exercises within the class
When you exercise aerobically you will be improving your fitness level. When our system is working aerobically, it increases the metabolic rate. This is a very important if you are trying to lose weight but more importantly it also leads to improved cardiovascular health and general well being.
The Cool Down
This is a time of relaxation during which the body can return to normal and the mind can ease the everyday worries and pressures. Stretches improve the general range of movement and help to improve posture and appearance.
